We are pleased to announce that our Accommodation & Sales Manager, Kelly Hillman has just gotten engaged. Kelly’s fiance Alex, popped the big question in the gardens of The Russell Cotes Museum by the beautiful fountain.
I hope that you will join all of us at The Queens Hotel & Spa in wishing them all the best for a long and happy life together.
Every woman dreams of their Wedding day and how perfect it will be and we are always proud when we make our brides wishes come true!
We recently played host for the wedding of Mr and Mrs Coombes in September 2010 and today received a wonderful email from the newlyweds….
We hope that you are well? We are so sorry that we haven’t been in after the wedding to say a BIG thank you for everything. You’re probably thinking what wedding!? Haha!
What with starting a new job and everything else we just haven’t found the time.
We both look back with the best memories of our day and that’s with a BIG thanks to you and your team at the hotel. You were amazing on the day and always there when I had the thoughts in my head of what should be happening now I didn’t even need to look for you, you would appear and sort everything out (seen on the DVD a few times).
The food was fantastic and all of our guests have said the same (although I didn’t eat all of mine, had a slight argument with a shallot so gave up! Bridezilla moment!)
The whole day went without a hitch and it was great that the children were allowed to be outside and in between rooms without anyone causing a fuss, it was just perfect and very relaxed.
I really don’t think we can thank you enough for a very special day.
Mr & Mrs Coombes
We hope you will all join us in congratulating them and wishing them all the best for the future.
Also congratulations go to Frank on another successful wedding!

The Queens Hotel and Spa walked away with a Highly Commended Plaque at this years Bournemouth Tourism Awards.
It shows that all the hard work and dedication from all our staff is recognised by not only the Hotel guests but by the industry itself.
I am sure you will join us in congratulating all those involved with the smooth running of The Queens Hotel and Spa!
The snow has gone but the memories are still around, we found this lovely fella on Bournemouth Beach on Thursday!
The past few days has seen a blanket of snow cover most of the UK. Bournemouth finally joined the rest of the country, with up to five inches in some places falling overnight.
Take a look at our gorgeous pictures taken on Thursday afternoon by our Bars Manager Bryan Popple.
The roads are now starting to clear nicely though we still have the Christmas card appearance. Dorset Council have been amazing, making sure all the roads have been regularly gritted and that public transport has continued to run.
As long as you take it slow Bournemouth is the perfect place for a winter break or for all your Christmas shopping needs!
Our very own Richard Brown (Conference & Sales Manager) has now been made one of four Conservative spokespeople for the Canford Heath Area of Poole in Dorset.
Richard has lived in Canford Heath for 4 years and has spent most of his life living in the Poole area. Having two children Richard wants to ensure a good future in the Canford Heath/Poole district.
We are sure you will all congratulate Richard on his first step on the political ladder!
