Wining and Dining at The Queens Hotel and Spa

The award winning and luxuriously decorated Alexanders Restaurant is open to residents and non residents of the hotel for breakfast and dinner every day of the week. Crisp white table clothes and a grand setting give the restaurant a traditional feel but as with the rest of the hotel a modern touch has been added.

Alexanders can seat up to 220 guests and offers many traditional dishes, plus exciting continental and Asian style dishes which are prepared to the highest standard of quality by our Executive Chef. Top quality ingredients and produce are sourced locally from Dorset and the surrounding counties. Along with our highly recommended and accommodating staff, the restaurant has won many awards, resulting in an enviable reputation for excellent cuisine.

The Garden Lounge

The Garden Lounge and bar possess a charming and relaxing ethos, accompanied by a splendid choice of wines, beers and spirits. This then leads invitingly into the garden where you can enjoy the sun and the liquid delights of the bar. The Garden Lounge also offers a hot and cold lunch and snacks menu which is available daily from 11.30am. Why not try the delicious Chargrilled sirloin Steak served with red onion chutney, side salad and French fries or the Baked Goats Cheese Salad served on picked leaf salad with pumpkin seeds, beetroot, carrot and toasted pine nuts.

Breakfast at Alexanders

Dining with us in the morning is a real treat and you will be spoilt for choice with the breakfast buffet on offer at Alexanders. You will find a wonderful selection of cereals, fruit, toast and hot breakfast items available as well as an unlimited supply of fruit juices, teas and coffee.

Dinner at Alexanders

Dinner at Alexanders consists of a four course table d’hote menu which changes daily and we also have a selection of a’ la carte meat and fish dishes.

Our award winning food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff are the perfect addition to your stay at The Queens Hotel so why not book to have dinner for £18.95 per person.

Sunday Lunch at Alexanders

Sunday Lunch is one British Tradition worth observing. All you need is a lazy afternoon, an expandable waist line, good company and we will do the rest.

Offering great value at £16.50 per person, Sunday Lunch is served from 12.00pm to 1.30pm in Alexanders (last orders at 1.15pm).
