JOB DESCRIPTION 

• Leading a reception team
• Responsible for taking reservations
• Checking guests in/ out
• Dealing with billing enquiries
• Taking conference bookings & ensuring these are dealt with professionally
• Operating switchboard & directing calls appropriately
• Cash handling & float checks
• Stock taking & ordering
• Security & locking up
• Swimming pool checks
• Ensure staff are maintaining company standards
• Liaising with housekeeping, restaurant, bar, maintenance & events
• Main point of contact for customers & deal with any issues that arise
• Develop staff so that they maximise all sales opportunities
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
• This is a hands on role

   

THE CANDIDATE

• Minimum of 2 years reception supervisory experience
• Ideal candidates will have previous experience of working in a Duty Manager role
• Knowledge of roomMaster would be beneficial
• Exceptional organisational skills & an eye for detail
• Proven IT skills
• Friendly disposition with clear spoken English
• To be eligible to live & work in the UK

This is a permanent role.

You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota system, including split shifts

Salary is negotiable. Meals on Duty and uniform supplied.
