Welcome to the Queens Hotel & Spa. Whether you are yet to arrive or already comfortably settled in, you can find a host of useful information here about the hotel's amenities, the bar and restaurant, the spa and even about Bournemouth itself. Check in and check out times are 11:00 and 15:00 respectively. Guests cannot be checked in before 13:00 but may check in before 15:00 at a cost of £10 ph. If you would like to keep your room for a later check out, you are very welcome to do so for a maximum of 2hrs (up to 13:00) at an extra £10 per hour. Just ask at reception and one of our team will be pleased to arrange this for you.

There are a limited number of car parking spaces in the hotel grounds and these are on a 'first come, first served' basis. The hotel parking fee is £10.00 per day. Blue badge holders may request a reserved space - please let our reception team know if this is a requirement before you arrive. There is free parking between 5:00pm and 9:00am in the roads around the hotel. Please be aware that these spaces are in particularly high demand in the high season months.

A full buffet breakfast is served between 06:30-09:30 on weekdays and between 07:00-10:30 on weekends. A comprehensive selection of delicious food is available to suit every taste, from fresh fruit, croissants and cereals to a full selection of locally sourced hot food for those who enjoy a Full English Breakfast. Fruit juices, teas and coffee will complement and complete a great start to your day.

LUNCH: Lunch is available between 12:00 – 15:00 in the Queens Coffee Lounge. So, if you need something tasty to keep you going until the evening, you’ll find an exciting array of tasty dishes together with an excellent selection of sandwiches, all featured on our Queens Bar lunch menu, where you are also very welcome to enjoy your lunch or, if the weather is good, in the garden too.

DINNER: Served in the Queens restaurant from 18:00 - 21:00, it’s time to relax, time to celebrate, time to enjoy the company of family and friends. Our dinner menu has been designed and created by our talented head chef and his dedicated team to bring you a delicious, tempting selection of dishes to delight every palette.

The Queens Bar is open from 12:00-23:00 on weekdays and 12:00 – 01:00 at weekends. Our experienced bar staff are waiting to welcome you and to serve you with your favourite tipple, from cocktails to mocktails and from beers to fine wines. You can even have a tea or a coffee too!  Food will also be available from the Queens Bar between 12:00 and 21:30 with sandwiches available until 17:00.

The Queens Spa is open from 10am to 7pm seven days a week and the Spa facilities from 8am to 8pm, also 7 days a week. Parking is complimentary for Spa customers but please ensure that you have entered your registration number into the system at reception. The Spa has a great range of packages and treatments to pamper yourself or to treat others as a gift, including Bed & Breakfast and Afternoon Teas (with Prosecco!). (The Spa doesn't offer beauty treatments like manicure, pedicure, waxing or tinting.)

Hotel guests are very welcome to use the Spa swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna, available to guests between 8am to 8pm every day. Please ensure that all children are accompanied by a competent adult swimmer at all times and that, for the safety of yourself and others, you adhere to the pool rules as displayed in the pool area.

Free high speed wi-fi is available throughout the hotel for all guests and visitors. There is no password - simply enter your details to gain access.

All our rooms have their own telephone. Reception is 620 and you can also dial other rooms directly to talk to family, friends and colleagues. Don't forget, our reception team is always here to answer your questions and offer help when you need it and we really are  just a phone call away...

With access to all the usual channels, the TV in your room can provide all the entertainment you need for a comfy, relaxing night in. All rooms are fitted with new, sleek flat screen TVs and, with the added benefit of Chromecast, your choice of viewing is almost limitless!

If you would like a morning newspaper, please ask at reception and they will be pleased to organise this for you. Please pre-order upon check-in

We partner with an external dry-cleaning company to ensure you have clean clothes when you need them most. To make the most of this service, please speak to a member of our reception team who will be very happy to organise this for you. They will then contact you once your items are cleaned and ready for you.

We understand that being comfortable when you are getting ready to go to bed is one of the most important things in getting a good night’s sleep. That’s why, if you need any extra pillows or blankets, you can call reception from the telephone in your room by dialling 620.

We know the summer months in the south can get very hot and so, for your comfort and convenience, all of our rooms are fitted with air conditioning units that have wall-mounted remote controls. If you are experiencing any difficulties setting your preferred temperature, please do not hesitate to call 620 where our friendly receptionist will assist you.

Need to drop off some bags before you check in, or leave them with us for a short time after you have checked out? Speak to a member of our reception team who will safely store your luggage until it is time to check in or leave for home.

Junior Suite:

Why not treat yourself and upgrade to one of our stunning junior suites...  Enjoy the additional luxuries such as robes, slippers, a fridge filled with complimentary drinks and snacks, and a Nespresso coffee machine.  It’s the little extras that make you feel special.

From toothbrushes, to shower caps, we keep a useful selection of travel essentials for your convenience. We know how frustrating it can be when you get to a hotel and you realise that you have forgotten your shaving kit- so if you find yourself in this situation,  call reception on 620 or pop down to the desk and let them know what you need and they will be more than happy to assist you.

Bournemouth’s train and bus station is just a 15-minute walk from our hotel, serving direct links to key destinations such as London, Birmingham, Oxford, and Manchester. Bournemouth Airport is a 20-minute drive away with regular flights to multiple European destinations including weekly flights to Dublin and Edinburgh. If you require a taxi, please speak to a member of our reception team who will be happy to book one for you.

At The Queens Hotel & Spa we are lucky to be situated where we are;  a short five-minute walk down to the seafront, and because we are a little bit further away from the pier, the beach is lovely and quiet, giving you and your family space to enjoy the seaside!

Still looking for some exciting water-based weekend activity? We have partnered with ShakaSurf, an independent surfing school who offer a wide range of different lessons and board hire. All you need to bring is swimwear and a towel, and don’t forget the sun cream! You can find more information on ShakaSurf by our reception, it’s not hard to miss a giant surfboard…

The outstanding beauty of the area isn’t limited to just our fine yellow sands, it also includes the New Forest which can be reached within about a fifteen-minute drive from Bournemouth. Take a picnic and watch the ponies gently strolling past or take dips in the rivers to cool off. There are some good shops and cafes too, with Burley being a great destination to begin exploring the area.

In Bournemouth itself, there are plenty of excellent tapas bars and restaurants as well as pubs, wine bars and nightclubs.
